SSV is unique program that uses an on-court, basic skills test to evaluate players. The 15-minute test is simple, but very accurate, giving a player an SSV Tennis rating between 0 - 200. Over time, coaches/pros, parents and players can easily measure improvement.
Great for first-timers up thru USTA/UTR
SSV Grand Prix Competition is based on
levels of tennis ability, not age or gender
Programs based on age and gender often have mis-matches
First-time juniors will lose to seasoned first-seeds and think about quitting. SSV wants juniors to avoid that kind of experience, easing them into competition at their own level.
There is a much greater pool of juniors by tennis ability.
